On Sunday 10 May, Were putting our feet down to save lives.
My husband and I have taken part in the Mother’s Day Classic for many years, walking in support of loved ones, family members who have survived, dear friends we’ve lost, and the many others affected by breast and ovarian cancer.
It’s a meaningful event that brings people together, offering a chance to connect with others while enjoying the outdoors and raising awareness for an important cause. This year, we’ll be participating at Phillip Island, and we’re looking forward to being part of it once again.
Tragically, every day in Australia 63 people diagnosed and 12 lose their lives to breast or ovarian cancer.
I’m asking you to do more than just stand with us but to support us as we walk and move till we’re done.
There’s only one way to stop breast and ovarian cancers - together!
