It's nearly time for another Mother's Day Classic! Along with the late Mavis Robertson and Women in Super, I started the MDC to raise money for breast cancer research in memory of my mum Kaye, who died from breast cancer when she was only 52. Since then, so many friends have also been diagnosed, and I was diagnosed myself 12 years ago. Two years ago MDC also started fundraising for another women's cancer that impacts so many - ovarian cancer. It is so important for us to keep fundraising for research to solve these two cancers. I hope you will sponsor me to help us make further progress And I hope I will see some of you on the Tan Track on Mother's Day!

The Mother’s Day Classic is Australia’s most inspirational, cause-driven community event. Every year, thousands of Australians come together on Mother’s Day to start their Mother’s Day with purpose. Our aim is to unite and inspire the community, create a fun and engaging event experience, to celebrate and remember those touched by breast and ovarian cancer and to raise life-saving funds for research.
