On Sunday 12 May, I'm putting my foot down to save lives.
Last year myself and my mother signed up to complete the Mother’s Day classic a short few weeks later we found out she had breast cancer. It was the most difficult year of our lives and is still difficult. She is one of the lucky ones but has still suffered severe nerve damage from treatment that will hopefully resolve.
Treatment has come a long way but still has a long way to go.
I’m joining the Mother’s Day Classic to help raise funds and awareness to fight breast and ovarian cancers.
Tragically, 12 Australians lose their lives to these awful diseases every day.
I’m asking you to do more than just stand with me but to support me as I walk, run, and move till we’re done.
