SUPPORTING Breast and Ovarian Cancer Research
Why I am Running 10K on 10th May
At the start of this year, I decided to start running again after quite a long break, something I honestly never thought I’d get back into. What started as a small personal challenge has slowly turned into something really meaningful to me, and I’m so excited (and a little nervous!) to now be training for my first ever 10 km 🏃♀️✨
I’m doing this to support awareness for breast and ovarian cancer, two causes that affect so many people, whether directly or through someone they love 🎗️🩷
As someone training to be a doctor, with a special interest in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, this is something that feels especially important to me. The more I learn, the more I realise how important awareness, early detection, and support truly are, not just medically but emotionally too.
This run is my small way of contributing and being part of something bigger 🤍
If you’re in a position to donate, I would be so incredibly grateful, no matter how big or small. Your support really does mean a lot 💛
Love, Trish 🫶
On Sunday 10 May, I'm putting my foot down to save lives.
I’m joining the Mother’s Day Classic to help raise funds and awareness to fight breast and ovarian cancers.
Tragically, every day in Australia 63 people diagnosed and 12 lose their lives to breast or ovarian cancer.
I’m asking you to do more than just stand with me but to support me as I walk, run, and move till we’re done.
Please make a donation today to support my challenge. There’s only one way to stop breast and ovarian cancers - together!
Thank you for your support.
Together the Mother’s Day Classic community has donated...
