This year, golf clubs across Australia will be teeing off for breast cancer research. There are many ways you and your club can get involved, whether it’s participating in the Mother’s Day Classic on Sunday 8th May 2022 or holding a dedicated day to fundraise for breast cancer research.
We invite you to join in the fun and help us put a stop to breast cancer.
Get involved in the Mother’s Day Classic
Every Mother’s Day, participants from all corners of the country come together to walk or run in support of the 1 in 7 women diagnosed with breast cancer. Since the inception of the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), the 5-year survival rate for breast cancer has improved from 76% to 91.5% - statistical proof that research is saving lives. But we still need to do more.
The Women In Super Mother’s Day Classic is celebrating our 25thanniversary in 2022 and we can’t wait for you to be a part of the celebration!
Community groups and sporting teams are such a pivotal part of the Mother’s Day Classic. There are plenty of ways your golf club can get involved in 2022. You can register a team to walk or run at a Mother’s Day Classic event or host a golf day and tee off for breast cancer research at your club!
