WA - Onslow

We are delighted to announce a Mother's Day Classic Local Location at Onslow!
Local locations will be smaller and more informal compared to traditional MDC events, but they will be big on community spirit!

Where: Onslow Beach Resort, Onslow 

When: Sunday 9th May

Distances: 4km & 8km

Timing: 

  • 8:00 am

WITH EXCLUSIVE CONTENT FROM OUR PARTNERS:   

The course will begin at the Onslow Beach Resort along the beach to the back beach (BBQ area) exit point, along the board walk, along First Ave, finishing at the resort.

Parking: Onslow Beach Resort

Participant Information: Meet at the Onslow Beach Resort lawn to warm up and get ready for the walk/run to begin. The race begins at 8:00am & 8:30am sharp and finishes with a BBQ.

Fundraising 
On the day you'll be able to donate funds via the collection tins or electronically via the SMS donation number (0488 849 632)

First aid
All MDC Local Locations will have a qualified first aid officer on site. First aid will be located at the location event arrival site.

Food & drink
BYO water in reusable bottles, use any available water dispensers at the site, no water stations will be provided.

Dogs
All dogs/pets must be on leads.

COVIDSafe statement: This event will be conducted in accordance with all COVIDSafe requirements and practices as determined by the state health department. A COVIDSafe checklist/plan has been completed for this event to ensure the safety of all participants.

MDC Local 

While this year will look a little different, you’ll still be able to dress up, complete your walk/run, honour those touched by breast cancer and enjoy the community spirit on the day. All you need to do is bring along your race pack (which will be delivered to your door beforehand), arrive at your assigned time, use your phone to scan the QR code at your location and complete one or two laps of the course. Don’t forget to share your happy snaps and tag #mdc2021!
