NSW - Orange
We are delighted to announce a Mother's Day Classic Local Location at Orange!
Local locations will be smaller and more informal compared to traditional MDC events, but they will be big on community spirit!
Lake Canobolas boasts a picturesque 2.5km track around the perimeter which takes approximately 30 minutes to walk, complete as many laps as you wish.
There are minor elevations but it is suitable for walking, running, dog walking (on leash) and prams. The path is a combination of gravel, dirt and bitumen.
From the intersection of Woodward Street and Coronation Drive (Orange High School), head west on Coronation Drive, continue onto the Cargo Road for 4.7km then turn left at Lake Canobolas Road where Rowlee Winery is situated. Follow the road around for 1.5km and you will see parking for the Lake on the left hand side.
The Check-in area
The check-in area is visible as you drive into the car park - look out for the pink Mother's Day Classic flags.

On the day you'll be able to donate funds via the collection tins or electronically via the SMS donation number (0488 849 632)
All MDC Local Locations will have a qualified first aid officer on site.

While this year will look a little different, you’ll still be able to dress up, complete your walk/run, honour those touched by breast cancer and enjoy the community spirit on the day. All you need to do is bring along your race pack (which will be delivered to your door beforehand), arrive at your assigned time, use your phone to scan the QR code at your location and complete one or two laps of the course. Don’t forget to share your happy snaps and tag #mdc2021!
