SUPPORTING Breast Cancer Research

My reason why

Last year, my world changed when I found out my mum had breast cancer—something I never imagined our family would have to face. It was scary, overwhelming, and heartbreaking, but it also showed me just how strong she truly is.

On Mother’s Day, my dad, a close friend, and I walked in the Mother’s Day Classic to support her—to stand by her during one of the hardest times in her life.

This year, it means even more. We’re not just walking for her, but alongside her—and my grandmother, who is also a survivor. Two incredibly strong women who inspire me every single day.

What started as a moment of fear has turned into a tradition of hope, strength, and love that our family will carry forward.

If you can, please join us on the walk or support us with a donation. Every step we take and every dollar raised helps fund vital research and support for families going through this journey. Together, we can make a difference.

Together the Mother’s Day Classic community has donated...

$48.23 million

Since 1998 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

$2.57 million

Since 2024 to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation

I’ll been thinking about you and your family. What you’re going through is heavy, but the way you’ve been there for your mum says a lot about you. I’ve got a lot of respect for that. I really hope things start looking up for her soon. Sending love your way. See you in the pit 🫶
